Around this time of year, we all begin to start thinking about what we are going to do differently in the year ahead. For 2017, I have thought of a few things I am aiming to do to make the year a good one and I’ve decided to share them with you.
GET BACK INTO MY FITNESS
By this, I mean both completing in regular exercise again as I have recently fallen off the bandwagon and also eating healthier. This year, I started Kayla Itsine’s workout guide and was the fittest I have ever been. I then went on holiday and found it very tough to get back into the swing of things when I came home. Through eating healthier and starting the workout programme again, I aim to get back to that level of fitness. I still want to have fun though, I am allowed treats.
STICK TO A BLOG SCHEDULE
This is something I have not been great at this year. My aim has always been to upload at least once every week but there can be times when I won’t post for weeks on end. I plan to stick to a blog schedule as of 2017 as well as starting and maintaining regular videos on my Youtube channel. Fingers crossed I can do this.
SAY YES MORE
I feel I have made a brilliant start to this in 2016. I’ve really pushed myself out of my comfort zone this year and have found myself taking part in events/situations etc that I would never have had the confidence to do before. Saying that, I still have a long way to go and I hope 2017 is the year!
DRINK MORE WATER
This isn’t the most exciting but I get headaches regularly and a lot of the time I think that is down to being dehydrated so I will aim to increase my daily water intake.
STOP CARING WHAT PEOPLE THINK
Again, this is something I have improved on a lot this year. For example, I put off starting my blog for years because I was always worried what people would have to say but I eventually told myself that it doesn’t matter what they think. One of my favourite quotes and one I will bring forward into next year is ‘Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.’ This resolution also ties into ‘saying yes more’ as if I don’t care what people think, I’m more likely to say yes more!
I think that might be enough for now. Let’s make 2017 a good one!
What are your New Year’s resolutions?

I realllyyyy need to get back into fitness haha! It’s going to be hard after 2 weeks worth of eating whatever is in my sight over the holidays hahaha!
Haha, try like 6 months of eating whatever is in sight. It’s going to be a struggle 😅
Lol I can relate. This is great!
I did a post on resolutions over on my blog, if you’d like to check that out if you’ve got a chance! But in short, it was to face more of my fears, to become for creative with my photography, and to be happy. I love reading posts like these 🙂
